History Matters

In almost all of these early videos below you will find three entities mentioned:

1. The Effie Cooper Wood Company
2. The White Oaks Gold and Minerals Group
3. Hampton Antique Building Materials

Early on, The Project Team began to think about the eventual formal structure of the project.

The above were three formal company entities they envisioned would be required to "Manage and Control" this project and other possible related projects. 

Only the last above ( Hampton ABM, LLC) was ever legally formed before the project disbanded in late 2019 ... because of the global COVID pandemic.

 It was named after Kenny Hampton a team member who is mentioned and pictured frequently on this site. Kenny was a direct descendant of family members who worked at the logging site and saw mill in Rob's small home town of Lake Wales, FL. We met Kenny via an intensive search by Rob to find someone living in his town who was directly related to people/families who actually worked at our  mill and logging camp.  Kenny was born not more than two blocks from the historic  saw mill site.

Hampton ABM was formed to initally manage and fund our investigation and early retrieval of logs from the Lake Wales Mill Site as well as several other close by mills in surrounding communities. We intended to  fund HABM and thus the project  by sale of the early logs recovered ....to very limited and respected dealers in such antique woods. 

This was intended to be the full scale, wide depth and scope, technology/equipment/people company to handle surveys, sampling, scientific investigation and research , engineering, permitting, licensing, recovery, storage, inventory management, transportation, shipping and receiving, purchasing, laboratories, maintenance, security, etc.. 

Why the name?! .....

As you will see The Ghost Town of White Oaks, New, Mexico  plays a major and mystical role in the story surroundig this project and Rob. White Oaks is a place that Rob visited frequently in his former life as an entrepreneur and owner of a heavy mining equipment global distribution company and domestic heavy equipment dealership.

Living and working in that region of New Mexico , Rob liked to meet with his friends , partners, and customers at a small iconic ghost town bar / pool hall .....that is the only thing open and still active in this historic and enchanting gold mining town of a bygone era. 

This is  also the town where Rob first met his life long muse "Effie Cooper Wood". The Cedarville Cemetery, where Effie resides (and has resided since the late 1800s).... is within walking distance of the White Oaks Bar. 

Rob believes that White Oaks holds other historic and hidden treasures. The gold mining in tunnels and caves in this area was done long before modern advanced technology equipment was available. Rob feels sure there is Gold (and other valuable minerals) still there ...maybe a lot of Gold...maybe even Uranium. 

This was intended to be the "Mother and Controlling  Entity of  Everything". 

The "High Ground Center of Virtue, Wisdom, Competence, Tenacity, Relevance, Charity, and Vision". 

It was named to specifically honor the most "Historic, Transcedant  and Mystical" member of our team.... our friend and enigmatic partner .... "Effie Cooper Wood".!
